Report: TV producer's son dies skiing in Park City - Salt Lake Tribune

A 20-year-old man died in an accident Tuesday at Park City Mountain resort.

Margo Van Ness, a spokeswoman for the resort, declined to confirm the victim’s name. She referred to a prepared news release describing the deceased only as a 20-year-old from Sherman Oaks, Calif.

“Park City Mountain, Park City Mountain Ski Patrol and the entire Vail Resorts family extend our deepest sympathy and support to our guest’s family and friends,” said Mike Goar, Park City Mountain vice president and chief operating officer.

The statement went on to say the ski patrol responded to a “ski incident” on an intermediate trail near Canyons Village. Crew members from University Hospital’s helicopter ambulance pronounced the victim dead.

TMZ, citing an unidentified law enforcement source, said Noxon fell, but did not elaborate. A spokesperson for the Summit County Sheriff’s Office referred The Salt Lake Tribune to Park City Mountain resort for information.
